Handira, also known as Moroccan wedding blankets, are woven out of sheep's wool, cotton and linen by Berber women in the Middle Atlas mountains of Northern Morocco. These blankets were traditionally made entirely by hand by the bride's relatives and the bride wore it when she got married.
This unique, vintage ivory and black blanket is in excellent shape and embellished with loopy fringe. The reverse of this blanket is accented with an all over kilim pattern. Ideal to use at the end of a bed, a couch, on the floor as a rug or as wall decoration, they are a "must-have" for your home.
Hand picked by marramarket in Morocco, these beautiful blankets make an excellent addition to your decor.
