Originating from the Azilal region in the remote Atlas mountain area of Morocco, these rugs have been hand crafted from natural virgin wool and cotton. As a tradition passed on from generations, each weaver uniquely incorporates ancestral history and personal milestones (i.e. marriage, birth, death, etc.) to craft an authentic piece of artwork.
As a vintage piece that has been woven entirely by hand, the shapes of these rugs are often known to be imperfect. This is a very pretty runner with a tufted all-over diamond pattern.
All rugs have been cleaned and restored, they are in excellent condition and have been very well preserved.
